Organization

All the programmes mentioned on this site are organized by Douro Verde Turismo Sociedade Unipessoal Lda. and Tremdouro, with offices at Av. da Galiza Ed. Douralto 6° frente, municipality of Peso da Régua, with share capital of 100.000.00€, tax no. 506283151 and 505433761, registered at Peso da Régua company register.

Requests and Booking

Requests and bookings for any excursion must be made in writing. Only those requests and bookings that are made in due time, with a 50% deposit, the rest to be paid 48 hours before the excursion, will be considered valid. With respect to cruises, full payment must be made with the booking.

Prices

The prices quoted on the site for each cruise are always subject to confirmation before the date of the excursion, since they are liable to change due to force majeure. Customers will be notified of any change of price if at all possible, and they will be offered the chance to cancel their request or booking. Children up to (2) two years of age do not pay; those aged between (2) two and (8) eight pay 50% of the full price, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Minimum number of passengers (Cancellations)

For any of the excursions described in this brochure to take place, there must be a minimum number of passengers; otherwise the organizers may cancel without incurring any obligation to pay any kind of compensation. If events occur that are not the attributable to the Company (especially extreme weather conditions), for programmes that involve transport services provided by third parties (train or boat), if it is impossible to use the transport planned, the organizers will provide alternative transport. In the event of unforeseeable delay (e.g. due to breakdown), the organizers may be forced to cancel some services.

Complaints

The customers can file their complaints during the excursion. The complaints have to be submitted in writing within 5 days of the services have been provided.

Insurance

The insurance cover is in accordance with the stipulations of Portuguese law.

Legal action

The district court of Peso da Régua alone has jurisdiction to hear legal actions, to the exclusion of any other court.
